Post wedding hair

I'm bored and trying to decide what I want to do with my hair now that the wedding is over. My hair is long, naturally wavy and it's also pretty thick. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to get it cut of b/c it takes me over 30 minutes to fully blow dry now. I'd like to get it cut like this, but I don't know how it will look with thicker hair and my face shape. Any suggestions? http://tinyurl.com/yjvdx6z

Re: Post wedding hair

 • I love that cut, and my hair is pretty similar to that, except shorter, in between my shoulders and my chin. The only issue I have with it is it never looks that sleek and pretty, unless I flat iron the shiit out of it.

 • Lots of layers and texturizing will make it significantly thinner.  Also, invest in a better blower.  For people with thicker hair a good quality blower will make a world of difference.

 • I have the exact same Bespoke hair dryer Sarah posted the link to (i bought it on QVC easy pay last year). It used to take me an hour to blow dry. My hair holds a ton of water... Any ideas why, Mandy? I switch between pureology and joico kpak shampoo and conditioner, I deep condition my hair once a week.
 • My hair when I do not flat iron it is frizzy, thick, wavy...impossible basically.I got a really good hairdryer with this "ion" switch. I am not exactly sure of the science behind it, all I know is when I use it my hair is so silky smooth. I went out of town a couple weeks ago and had to use one of my friends dryers. My hair was back to its uncontrollable frizzy self. Just a suggestion! :)
