S/O: AW your FI

Lots of acronyms.  Wow.It's no Olympic trials, but yesterday FI picked out readings he would like in our wedding ceremony without prompting or me even mentioning it.  I was pretty shocked.And he can juggle, really, really well.What does your FI do that's pretty awesome?

He fixes sh!t. Lots of sh!t. Even does the brakes on my car. Aww, he's the best.

He is an incredible aspiring comic artist, he has had a few things shopped around this year at cons, some top names in the comic industry have gone out of their way to get copies of his art and contact him to speak to him about it (ie, brian bendis). He has finally started getting paying jobs and might have a few things published the beginning of next year.

A few days ago he drove me to the 24 hour CVS at midnight to get me tampons and midol. Then he spent an hour just rubbing my poor belly/uterus area until I fell asleep. He can also juggle :)He also makes me delicious food when I'm having a bad day.

He's amazing on a mountain bike.  And has buns of steel from years and years of cycling.

He does very small, but loving things everyday. I try my best to not take them for granted. He also does bigger loving things very unexpectedly. He's the best.

Am I allowed to AW my DH? He told me to  take wedding money and go buy the KitchenAid mixer because he knew I really wanted one. It made my day, and I'll repay him with an abundance of baked goods.

FI is awesome at techhie stuff. He creates menus and icons and makes software user-friendly. We have really antiquated, horribly non-intuitive software at work, so I value his skils even more. Oh, and he's very good at talking me down from potenital freakouts. He is the calm voice in my head.

FI fixes all of my family's computers, even though he hates computer repair. (He works in IT)  He's always super sweet about it.  When I ask his opinion on anything, he gives it to me, rather than something he thinks I want to hear. I appreciate that more than anything.

Out of his three weeks of vacation time that he's allowed this year, he's spent almost all of it going home with me to visit my family.He listens to all of my rambling descriptions of my clients and what I learned in class, all while genuinely wanting to know more info. He also puts up with having a house full of 40 therapists-in-training whenever we have parties.He's the only person who can keep me sane when things with my family go array.He helps me clip our guinea pigs' toenails even though he really doesn't like them.And he just got home this instant!

My FI went to an Ivy League school for undergrad (fingers crossed that our kids can get in as legacies... on full scholarships!) and then went straight into a PhD program. He has a PhD in applied mathematics. Which he got when he was 27. He was also an eagle scout and he kayaks a lot. He goes to the kayak polo national championship every year. To be fair, there are maybe like 25 kayak polo teams nation-wide, so pretty much anyone can go. They're actually in LA this weekend and FSIL (who also plays - and has a PhD in biology) is coming here for them.

Well he can't juggle, but he's a computer nerd so he knows everything there is to know about programming and most computer stuff. He can take apart and re-build computers. He also is very smart with history and politics/current events. I ask him the most random stuff and he knows it, like who the democratic representative from Utah is (or something like that). And he's a decent dancer. Cute butt to boot.He's pretty fly for a white guy.

He makes a point of remembering things that I like or am interested in.  For our upcoming trip to Australia, I was looking for things to do in Sydney, and he suggested that we see Taming of the Shrew at the Operahouse.  He hates Shakespeare and knows that I love it.

He called my parents from Iraq to ask for their blessing before proposing. He comes home in two weeks after a year over there! He helps me with my investments because I know nothing about the stock market.

Well I just recently found out he can juggle. Which shocked me! He also draws really really good. I'm trying to get him to go to school for graphic design. He always knows how to cheer me up and make me laugh no matter how mad I am. Love it!

DH is a mechanical genius (which is a good thing, since that's what he get's paid to do).He's one of the most mature and responsible people I know and has, in turn, made me more mature and responsible.He's kind and loving (and I'm working on appreciating the ways he shows it, while he's working on the "lame" things I like, like flowers), and willing to adapt, which makes me not the b!tch i was in a past life.I need to make sure I tell him I appreciate him tonight.

He is a plumber and can fix anything. He works super hard, for at least 12 hours a day, almost every day. When we first started dating, he did repairs on my car that saved me about $800.The weekend before we got married, he got a tattoo of a clover (our wedding gift puppy's name), a paisley (our other dog's name) and a diamond (symbolizing me) within a horseshoe.

Am I AWing him too much already to participate in this thread? :)He's incredibly kind and funny, and he's always there for me when everything else in my life is falling apart. He juggles and can ride a unicycle (although not at the same time) and he is really great at buying silly hats.And when he smiles at me there's this crinkle at the corner of his eye that makes me feel really special. And he has great eyebrows.

mag, those pictures are great!Also my FI is adorable and awesome with animals.  He has been doing way more than his share of dog maintenance because he knows I do a lot more cooking and householdy stuff.  I just melt whenever I see him with any of our pets.
