Girl with "Mermaid Syndrome" Passed Away :(

I've seen the previews for this show and wanted to watch it, but now she's gone :( She was 10 years old. She always seemed so cheerful in the previews. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33460841/ns/health-more_health_news/?GT1=43001

 • Awww. I watched a show about her. She had such a positive outlook on life.

 • That makes me sad. I think TLC had at least 2 specials on her. She had the option to get surgery to create 2 legs but she said she didn't want to because she liked to be a little different.

 • Oh no, that's so sad. I saw her special on tv too, and she did seem so positive.

 • Aww. I watched her new special a few weeks ago and it showed her at her 10th birthday party in the pool yelling "This is the best day of my life!" It was so cool. That's sad that she passed, but it sounds from the news article I read that she provided a lot of inspiration for people and won't be forgotten.
