please help

Hi ladies, ok, so I have to admit I have a problem. I never thought it would be so hard to decide on the wedding colors. I have changed my mind on them so many times it's really getting to me. Was it this difficult for you? Anyways, I think I made up my mind. I like the idea of pink/green/white... how does that sound? My wedding is in June. I really appreciate your input. Thanks

Re: please help

• My colors were pink, green, and white. It all worked out beautifully. I say go for it.
• Breathe. You don't need to stress so much. I went out looking for pewter-colored BM dresses, and wound up with truffle. Went to the florist looking for flowers in blue & ivory, and wound up with mauve, burgundy, and ivory. Just go out, see what you like, and roll with it. The very last thing you need to pick is linens, just about, so you don't need to sweat it yet. Take a look at BM dresses & see what looks good & everyone likes. Then just make sure the flowers look nice with them. Everything else will come together. Nothing at the outset needs to color-match, so you'll be fine.
• Those are beautiful colors, they work great together! I chose brown, ivory, and green (think honeydew) I decided on them so early, I couldn't change them if I had wanted to, I already bought stuff. But having done that, I wasnt able to be wishy washy which I think made things easier. So go ahead and buy something with those colors and go for it!
• Have you been looking on different wedding web sites? Check out snippet & ink, martha stewart, and style me pretty (those were my favorites when I was planning). Do some searches to see what kind of pink & green weddings have been done...if you see stuff you like, you'll definitely feel more comfortable with your color choice.Personally, I think deciding on wedding colors and mood should happen simultaneously...b/c some colors just don't work with certain moods & atmospheres.
• I have a while until my wedding, and I have changed my mind several times! :)  So, you're not alone. I think pink, green, and white sound really nice together.  GL.
• Ditto PP on the breathing part ;) We actually never started out with "colors." They just happened: BMs wanted brown dresses. I wanted white flowers. Champagne was a nice coordinating color. So we ended up with chocolate brown, ivory/white, and champagne. Why don't you go look at BMs dresses and see what colors you like and build from there? Oh, and it's a good idea to work with your venue's colors rather than against them if you want a look that's truly pulled-together... Perhaps the colors of your venue can help point you in the right direction.
