Is this paranoid

I moved about a month ago and while we were moving in had a run in with a neighbor of mine who was smoking. I told him it isn't allowed, he flipped out and called me a racist. Today I came home to damage on my screen door. There were two small puncture wounds in the screen and damage in the glass of the door. I reported it and my glass is going to be replaced. I have no idea what could have done it. I don't have any trees or natural things that could have done it. Now I'm weirded out. Is it unreasonable to be concerned about the crazy neighbor?

Eh, I would be weirded out as well but I don't think you should be horribly worried yet. Just report the property damage (as you did) and keep an eye out. Kids maybe?

Hmmm, maybe call this a "freak ACCIDENT" BUT IF ANYTHING ELSE HAPPENS, MAYBE be concerned.Sorry about the caps but I don't feel like fixing it.

Hmm what kind of puncture wounds/broken glass are we talking about? Like, bb sized/ crack in the glass or does it look like someone was trying to break in?

They could have been BBs, but there wasn't anything between the screen door and my door. There was, however, glass blown out like a bullet hole in a circular cone.

Hmm yeah...That might be a "report to cops" kind of thing just in case. Is the neighborhood generally bad or have you had more run ins with the guy?

It is a pretty quiet area. There are lots of families and couples. I didn't move far. I just moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom because FI is moving in with me in February.

smoking complaint = racist?? Huh?? Can you do an online police report to document the property damage? You don't really need an officer to visit, but you might want to start a record in case this wacko gets worse. Scary.
