Hi P&E ladies,I've been lurking for a while now and figured I'd come out of the shadows and say "hey."  My (first) name is Bella, I got married 2 months ago, and I only posted on my local CT board before (::::waves to ggmae & banana::::) but under my old screenname, which I have finally ditched b/c I never liked  having my last name in it.Anyway, I've found this board quite entertaining (esp. now that the CT board seems to be soooooo slow).  I am a big fan of sarcasm and advice columns, and this seems to be an interesting blend of the two.  And... when I saw references to "Arrested Development" being the best show ever, I knew I had to stay.So... hi.  Hope there's room for one more.Bella

I think intros just aren't done here because there are far too many people.  People aren't going to remember you from an intro, they'll remember you if you're witty and/or insightful.

DAMMIT FISH, stop picking on meeeeeeeeee.There was a thread on tb today about how some pregnant chick got all pissed at her H and kicked a door in.  I forwarded it to DH and said "see, I'm not that crazy!"  I get snippy at him every so often, but I don't yell at him and tell him I want to divorce him.I'm so glad I'm not crazy.  (i think)

Hahah Sarah, funny re:Twilight.  It figures, when I was a kid I could never find anything w/my name on it (you know, pencils, mugs, yadda yadda) and now that I'm an adult and actually love having a different name, the stupid Twilight books come out and everyone and their uncle are naming their children Bella.  Plus here in CT we have these trashy clothing stores called Bella... Now I look like I'm trying to be trendy even though I was named nearly 30 years ago after my grandmother!  Really irks me.

I too love your dress! I also got mine at Demetrios and found that it looks better on me than the model. Must be that their models suck.

Sorry I should've consolidated my replies... Champagne I'm sorry   I actually got that dress for well under what it was supposed to cost b/c I was going to get a sample at 1 store when the 2nd store I went to wanted my business and basically agreed to sell me a brand new one for the same price just to make the sale.  I got lucky.mwhitson, thank you for the complement but that is probably the most flattering photo ever taken of me b/c of how I'm walking, I really don't look that curvy in real life, but hell I'm milkin' it for what it's worth now!!

Champagne yours does look very similar, the applique long the bottom especially.  Good find   I think mine was 1250 with a veil, so figure 1000ish for the dress.  The other store was going to sell me a sample with a veil for about 1300, and that dress was bigger on me so i'd have paid even more for alterations.  I was psyched
