RSVP help!

My sister and I were invited to a friend's wedding this weekend, but at the last minute she had to work.  We RSVP'd for two.  Can I bring my fiancé instead?  Or call and re-RSVP for just one?

I'd call and let them know what happened and ask about FI

I would just call and ask if it's ok if your fiance fills in for your sister.  It should be fine, since they already have 2 places/meals for you.

I'd call the hosts and ask what they would prefer. At this point, they have probably already paid for your sister's meal, and if so they may be glad to have someone to eat it.I also raise an eyebrow that you were invited to a formal event without your FI... that's poor etiquette on their part.

To be fair, Sarah (by the way, you have a great name!), he and I became engaged just as/after they were mailing their invites.  They also know my sister better than my fiancé.
