She's a sweet girl, but sometimes I'm like... wow.It's not just the perkiness, it's the really random stuff she says.  She was telling me one time how her mom named her Brooke- after the drainage ditch outside her house.  She's like "Good thing she didn't name me Drainage Ditch!"

I think it's hilarious that her mom thought brook = drainage ditch. Storm drain, maybe? She could have been named Stormy.

True that. Lately, I've been relating pretty much everything to Caligula or other Roman emperors since I've been studying for my minor exam on Roman art. I don't think the FILs appreciated it this weekend.

I actually offered a co-worker lotion the other day, but she was complaining about how her skin gets dry and I have the most awesome lotion ever on my desk.   I love this stuff so much it's scary.  I am not ashamed.

My co-worker has turned into a bad search engine commericial."Do you know how to use movie maker?""Movie maker? no, but I know how to use publisher and power point and word and once I tried to use movie maker but then I got my boss to help me because I had to do a class on Astronomers but I didn't know how to make a movie and he suggested movie maker but then I decided to go without movie maker because my daughter who plays softball decided to go to homecoming so we went to buy a dress and then we went to get dinner...""Um...yes or no would have been sufficient..."
