What are you doing tonight?You know what I'm doing?  Going shopping with FMIL.  I have no idea what for.  I strongly suspect this is FI's doing and I want to kill him.I'm not happy.  Can't I just pretend that this wedding isn't happened, and didn't happen?FML.

    Going out to dinner with DH and a friend of his. She's in the navy with him and town for the week from Europe. They've known each other since college.So last night we're in bed and I think we're actually pretty close to getting it on (it's been less frequent lately, so I don't take these things for granted) and he says "I need to disclose something to you"...I ask him if he already whacked off tonight :) He said no, but he had hooked up with this chick once before...but I guess they didn't date or anything.Geez, DH, nice mood killer :( Timing could have been better.

    Apparently my opportunity to pull the "let's elope" card has now expired.  Something about RSVP's and people eating brunch without us.I don't see the problem.

    Awful.If I went shopping with MIL, she'd push something on me and because I can't say no, I'd end up with something horrid that I'd have to wear/use the next time I see her. Hopefully, you can say no.

    I'm awful at saying no.  I've hated shopping with FI because I'm not assertive enough.And this is wedding shopping, I'm fairly certain.  And she already has her outfit for the wedding.  I'm NOT happy.

    ugh, that is awful. reminds me of my ex-MIL.  She was nice enough, but it was still painful to shop with her.

    Not really. It was a long time ago, it's not like they had a relationship or were in love or something. But it doesn't make me particularly excited to meet her tonight.

    It's ok.  FMIL doesn't even know I play as far as I'm aware.  1.5 hours until I'm done work.  This is freakin' painful.
