I left my engagement and wedding rings to be soldered together today. They told me that they probably wont be back until the 10th

So I went to claire's and bought a ring set. I was going to get just a plain band, but these look similar to my real rings. I'm such a beebee, I cant be without rings on my finger for 11 days. I even tried to get a plain white gold band, but it was over $100 for the cheapest! I spent $10 at Claires, I'm pretty sure they are made of plastic, but they only need to last til I get mine back. PS. DH was always kinda embarrassed that he bought my ring from Kay's on clearance (at my request). I've never seen one like it and neither had the lady at Kays. It was probably a special order that was cancelled. Yay, custom...kinda.

Your DH shouldn't be embarrassed by that at all! I think that's awesome, personally.Tim got my rings on clearance too and I love him to death for it (I'm cheap). My set should've cost $7,500, but he got them on clearance for $2,900. Sweet!Your DH is alright in my book

I wouldn't. I occasionally forget my rings. Two weeks ago I forgot them in my trunk and despite driving all over creation never dug them out. It's just jewelry. Sentimental jewelry with a lot of love, but I don't NEED it.

My only problem when I forget mine is that all day I keep thinking I lost it. Like, I suddenly realize it's not on and have a second of panic before I remember I wasn't wearing it today.

I always dragged him to clearance, I was tired of looking at plain solitares, I wanted to see something different. He bought it while I was outside "getting a drink" (they sent me next door to a coffee place), so I kinda picked it. My rings are tray you-neek.

I wear my rings all the time, even when I sleep. I've been wearing rings on my left hand for years. I NEED a ring, addicted, I guess.

I know what you mean about "needing" it. I take mine off before I get in the shower or use the sink, and my hand just feels weird without it.In 16 days I'll be wearing the band too (squee)

I fell asleep with my ring on once and I woke up with a scratch on my face. Safety hazard!But to me its not a big deal to go without it, on the other hand, I hate getting it dirty. I was glad when I didn't wear it yesterday because my niece had me scraping out pumpkins.

My facets are mostly on the bottom and the light shines up through it, so I've never been cut with it, nor will I ever be. And it's not a solitaire. Maybe it has to do with the setting?
