I came home sick from work and am taking refuge on the couch. I'm watching a show about alleged Hollywood curses, such as the huge number of rock stars who have died at age 27 and the actors who have played Superman dying. What curses, conspiracies, or other mysterious things do you believe?

Did anyone see 30 Rock last night?  They poked fun at the celebrities-dying-in-threes curse, it was hilarious.  I'm with Kiki though, I don't really buy into curses.

There was some curse thing about the movie Poltergiest because of the amount of people that have died after being in it.

I also laugh when people discuss the reality TV relationship curse.  Um, no, it's not a curse, it is just logical that two people who care more about fifteen minutes of fame than their relationship will not be able to make said relationship work.

That curse about sports illustrated mag. If someone makes the cover, they get hurt. Happens all the time. At least I think that's sports illustrated.

There's a 'curse' with composers and symphonies.Beethoven died after writing only 9 symphonies, which is not that many compared to others before him (Mozart wrote 41, Haydn wrote 106, etc.).After he died, for awhile, composers would die after writing their 9th symphony.Gustav Mahler tried to beat it by calling something Symphony #9, but it really wasn't.  He died while writing #10.[url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_the_ninth[/url]

There are a few on the show that I hadn't heard before. I don't think I could go so far as to say I believe them, but some of the coincidences are pretty weird.
