My best friend of 25 yrs (who was my MOH) was rushed to the hospital yesterday in tremendous pain.She's been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis (hopefully it will not become chronic).She's young, beautiful, in great shape/otherwise healthy and mom to a 5 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old.The hospital won't allow the children in during flu season, etc., so she's very depressed on top of feeling so poorly. Pain killers are helping but she will remain solely on IV fluids for 3-7 days...time to allow the pancreas to "rest" while they do further tests.She's an only child, we grew up like sisters. I'm optimistic but terrified at the same time. I'll see her later this evening.Please take a moment to send Lora some positive thoughts.Thanks~Jamie
