I currently love the one snuggled in my lap and giving me "I love you, Mommy" eyes about three times as much as the one who just puked on the carpet.  Please tell me I am not the only pet owner who plays favorites.  Also Pixie (the favorite) says hi.  She is watching me Knot.

I am actually doing the same right now, minus the puked on carpet part. Roxy is sleeping on my legs and Sophie is sleeping in the chair 10 feet away.

The one I love the most pukes semi-frequently. I can't live in an apartment with carpet. Only hardwood or laminate. And I'm willing to do it because he's my favorite.We've been long-term cat sitting for a friend for about 6 months. Her cat  (Gus) is super sweet and friendly, and love to sit on laps (unlike mine). He especially loves FI. But I caught FI telling Nimbus (my cat) one day after Gus moved in, "You're still my favorite."

Awww. No I have a favorite of my two kitties also. Currently he is behind me sitting on the top of the loveseat, purring and kneading on the throw blanket.

I play favorites a lot too. I've had Demon for 6 years, Dh has had Katie for 9..officially 6 as "his" (she was his dads) so we're each partial to our own. I do switch some days when Katie is being particularly nice or Demon is being a brat.

Yeah, we have one nice, snuggly cat and one cat that just generally glares at us.  And a dog that likes to spoon under the covers.  We tend to play favorites.

I do the same. One cat loves to cuddle and will curl up in my lap. The other one...not so much. I love when they knead blankets and pillows

When Fi and I merged our cats, I realized that I would be an awful step-mother.  Puddin Margareen (mine) can do no wrong in my eyes. Conan the Destroyer (his) causes all the trouble and gets stern-voiced about 12x as much as Puddin does.  They have lived together for more than two months and they STILL cat-fight several times a day!  Thank you, Conan.
