Waiting for the cops to arrive. Walked up to my house and the front door was standing open, and I'm too scared to go in and check it out myself. I didn't even feel like sitting in the drive, because all I have in my head is a horror movie where the killer grabs you from behind or peeks in your window.

Kate, I thought so but that's what got me so scared, there was no one here. I called my bro but he's not answering. Nope, I'm alone in the car with the doors locked. I can see the cops arrive from my spot.

Whew thanks y'all. House is safe, brother is here now too. Cops did a thorough search (beds, closets, baths) and there's nothing here. No idea what's going on, but at least the house is empty! I'm still shook up, that tylenol pm is lookin better and better. Brother tried to leave a handgun with me, but being so prone to night terrors I declined. I'm now safely locked inside my room.
