Ideas for a new mom?

My cousin just had her baby.  I live 1100 miles away.  What can I do/send her/get delivered to her house?You ladies always have the best ideas.

Duh!  B was asking me what I wanted for my birthday and I came out and said that I really wanted an Edible Arrangement.  I figured ALL of the hints that I threw at home over the past few months weren't enough to assure me one.  He's clueless most of the time.Turns out, he was planning on getting one!  Smart man.

There are also those services that send meals packaged in dry ice. They usually are around four meals or so, which would be good for your friend since she doesn't have time to cook.This past Valentine's Day I used one of those services to send chicken kiev to FI, since that's his favorite dish that I make and what he would request if we were having a special dinner. He really loved it.

sarah - I was considering that, too.  Do you have any links/company names?I need more help, if anyone is still in this thread.

It looks like I used sendameal.com and with shipping the total came out to $68 for four meals, which isn't terrible especially when you compare it to the cost of sending flowers. I think FI had a lot of fun playing with the dry ice, and he really liked the meals, also.

sarah - that site is great!  And they have one that's a voucher for new parents where they to choose from a small menu and get a veggie and dessert.  I emailed my brother and SIL and asking if they want to go in on it with us and I'll see what they think.  Thanks, everyone!
