The board should be quicker now - is it?

They made some updates which were supposed to make the board run quicker.  I am not noticing any changes, but my computer is mega-old and is just slow to begin with.

Is it better for you guys?

Not for me. It's actually worse. I have been getting a lot of run time messages and an having a hard time brining posts up.

not much faster, and my computer is only a year old. but the changes seem to have made it difficult for me to post. when i click 'start a new post' no box comes up for me to write in. but i still get the teaser info listing popular posts on other boards at the top. oy.
