DJ location?

Hi all! I am getting married this Saturday, and I haven't figured out where to put the DJ. Our ceremony is outdoors in a beautiful park, and my plan was to have an indoor/outdoor reception (with enough seating for everyone both inside and out, so people can choose where they want to sit). But I didn't even think of where to put the DJ! I live in Florida, and it is supposed to be really nice this weekend with highs in the 70's. I will likely sit outside.What would you do?

Have him choose.  He's the pro and will know what works best.

Talk to your contact at the park.  If they've done this before, they'll likely have some ideas of what will and won't work.  And talk to the DJ, he/she should also have some ideas.

Agree with pp about having the DJ choose the best location.  Also consider where people will be dancing if they dance.  You would want him set up close to the dance floor.

I would let him set up inside.  It would probably be better for him and his equipment to be in air conditioning...But like someone said you could always let him choose were he wants to set up.

The venue said they usually set up outside on the brick patio. There isn't a designated dance floor. If we set up inside, we would have to lose some of the tables, so there might not be enough seating for everyone in the house. I will ask the DJ and see what he says.Thanks!
