I think it was a paper in Philly that did it. I heard about it on the radio on my way home tonight. I just hope that they win Wed in NY if they don't tonight.

More Yankees fan hubris. I don't know why anyone would think beating Cliff Lee is a sure thing with the way he's been pitching. Hamels sure, and Lidge really blew the game last night, but Lee has been a rock.

Watching the Knicks/Hornets game. Clyde Frazier is talking about how the crowd really isn't into the game (it is at MSG) and his co-announcer Mike Breen says " Well this World Series is a little painful for me. After all I am a Mets fan" I feel your pain, man... I feel your pain... As My G-Men got punished this weekend by the She-gals I do have to say Go Yankees.

I was nervous about tonight's game. I thought the pitching match up was favoring the Phillies - particularly since you just never know which Burnett will show. Ggmae, the Yanks lead the series 3-1.

It's the same thing with my FILs. Most Yankees fans seem to think they're playing a team of scrubs, but the Phillies are the defending world champions for chrissakes. Sure their fortunes have changed somewhat from last year with some of their pitchers having problems, but they are still an excellent team. I said from the beginning that this series was going to go six or seven games, and it looks like that's what is happening.And with all the Yankee pitchers pitching on short rest, there may be a chance for the Phillies to come back...
