My first thought was, "Ew, I don't want to wear someone else's earrings, gross." My second thought was, "And I also don't want to wear diamonds that have, at one point, had to have been SANITIZED."  Ick.

I didn't even think of that, but I have some antique jewelry. I just think it's ridiculous to do yourself up like that. I dunno, I wanted people to see my FACE at my wedding, not be blinded.

This reminds me of bagborroworsteal.com, which I find to be weird.  No offense if anyone here does it but I really feel like if I can't afford my own LV then I have no desire to rent one and pretend I can.  Also, sorry you have the flu

LOL, don't kid yourself, cew, I had friends who were trying to get me to do that! And I had friends who wanted to henna me up for it too. I did neither, though I did do my own makeup. Just good ol' MAC.

In the end, I think Bag Borrow or Steal costs almost as much as just buying a bag. I guess if I bought a new, $500 purse every season it would be cost-effective, but why would I do that? Especially since designer bags are supposed to last so long?My e-ring is vintage. Sometimes it's weird to think that some old lady probably wore it for 50 years and then her kids sold it. But I like it. Honestly, my whole wedding costs less than those diamonds, so no, I think it would look way over-the-top to wear that to my own wedding. If I was invited to the Oscars by Johnny Depp? Hell no! I'd be fine with them!

In the end, I think Bag Borrow or Steal costs almost as much as just buying a bag.Totally!  I looked at it once- for what the weekly rental price is for most of the bags, you might as well just sock the cash in a bank account and buy the bag outright when you have enough.
