Number of Proofs

For you ladies who have tied the knot...how many proofs were you given from your photographer?  I paid for 8 hours of coverage and received exactly 500 digital proofs - many of which are not good.I'm getting ready to write the angry e-mail (I want to have the digital CD in my hand), but wanted to know if I'm completely off base. My one friend said she received over 1000 pictures.Would love to hear your weigh-in.

Our contract said we'd get 1 photographer and 600 proofs but we got both photographers and over 1300 proofs.  I would definitely look in your contract to see what it specified.

The contract says 1000+ pictures taken that day and 500 posted online...I asked for all the pictures and they said he posted everything he had...are you kidding?

Well, if he said 500 posted online, than that's not wrong.

They only took 500 pics in 8 hours?  That sounds a bit light to me.

If he said he would take over 1000 pictures in your contract and he didn't, I think you need to fight for a partial reimbursement.

To be clear - I'm mostly angry that it seems like he only took 500 pictures (he indicated that he posted all the pictures he took).

Yeah, and if he promised more than he took, I think you need to look at your contract, look at how much you paid, look at how much he charges for a smaller package (like a 4 hour package where 500 pics would be the norm) and ask for x-amount of money back based on that.
