Re: Please tell me an old hag remembers!

  • I don't like the formatting on the bump. It confuses me. That probably says more about me than them. I also can't believe she equates Walmart furniture to not loving your kid. That biitch is crazy. She is either going to get over that real fast or go broke giving her baby gold plated diaper warmers.
  • "I suppose that her not being married at this point means she decided to forgo the wedding in order to spend $1500 on baby furniture?"Wait... i thought she said that she wasn't having a "mistake" and that she planned this pregnancy....Spectacular plan.

  • I  see no shame in being proud/happy that I can afford and get the best for my child. I love this line. (It's like a trainwreck, I can't look away...)Clearly, buying your infant child expensive clothing is best for them. Who needs hugs, love, and a college fund when I can have Uggs and a cute Stella dress at 2 months?

  • She is married.  She was using BF as an acronym for best friend. She's clearly an idiot.
  • I remember her. It was back when I first started lurking and she almost sent me screaming into the hills in fear that everyone on P&E was like that. Sadly for y'all, I stuck it out. :)
  • "Thank you sweet 8 pound 6 ounce baby Jesus, in your golden fleece diaper, that my wonderful DH came to take me out to lunch today and I didn't see these ticker pics while eating my lunch." Amen.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • I see no shame in being proud/happy that I can afford and get the best for my child. This is my fave, too. I hate people who think the most expensive thing must be the best.  IMO It's one of the worst traits a person can have. Also, she's totally the kind of mom who is going to love her kid less for being "fat" or "ugly."

  • I also can't believe she equates Walmart furniture to not loving your kid.Nah, she hates them because it's for POOR people! But it's totally fine if you're poor... it just means she's DIFFERENT than you! Not better or anything... She's just not poor, guys. Did you get that part yet?

  • I like how she keeps calling her nephew a mistake, and can't understand how it's different actually call a human being a mistake vs. saying that a mistake was made. I really do feel sorry for her child. And who the hell spend $1500 on a crib?? I saw a really cute one at Target the other day for less than $300. Is Target like Walmart, and for those of us who won't love our babies very much?

  • I haven't finished reading, but this girl is BSC.
  • I remember! How concerning.
  • hag here. was she the one who wanted her wedding paid for by vendors?
  • TOTALLY remember her. Yes, she was interested in sponsored weddings - here's the link to her blog: http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/blogs/nmawallace/default.aspx
