Well, from my own bubble: I recommend Beloved, but it's the kind of book where you have to trust the author... takes about 3/4ths of the way in to appreciate it.As far as Oprah and Palin, don't think it would change your mind regardless of what side of politics you are on.On my side, Oprah was... ahem... soft.... ahem,but I'm one of those liberals....

Well you don't have a bio and I haven't seen much of you around here, so I don't really know anything about you.  Tell me about yourself and your wedding plans, if you don't mind sharing. How'd you and your FI meet?  What do you do for a living? Are you having a big wedding?

Met FI through one of my BM's, actually. We had a Keg four years ago, and the rest is history. Don't let anyone tell you you can't meet people at parties :)Have been dating FI for three and a half years.He is a wine maker, I am finishing my BA in English Lit in December.I'm am an undergrad student at this point, entering the MA program next fall.

Neither, I'm in the central valley (clovis) and FI is on the central coast.

Ahhh gotcha. Dh lived in Davis for a few years, I have no idea where that is even in relation to anything, lol.

I'm here and at work as well I don't care about Palin or Oprah so no thoughts on that Haven't read Beloved but I need a new book so I might give it a shot My inspection on my car is overdue and I told the guy at the kwik kar that I only have enough money to get the oil changed or the inspection done. I do have enough money I just don't want to pay $40 for it when I can go outside of Houston and get it done for $15

i recorded palin on oprah but haven't watched it yet. i'm excited to see it. i think palin's a cool chick, even if she believes dinosaurs just died, or something.
