You ladies give wonderful advice, so yet again, I ask for some of that wonder.
At about 11 months before our wedding, we met with and signed our contract with our photographer. We also paid the first half at that point. He said since we have so long before the wedding, its not really necessarry to discuss details yet. Fast forward to now, approaching the 2 month mark. We are going to be sending out invites soon and so we don't know yet exactly who will be there, even from our families, and therefor still don't know who needs to be photographed that day beyond the obvious. We also don't have a timeline set up yet for the day to provide him. However, since we haven't contacted him since that original time, I feel like we should; but I'm not sure what to say. I feel like the best I can come up with is, "Hi. We're still here and alive and getting married. Just touching base" sort of thing.
Should we just wait until we know details or should be contact him again since it has been a while?
