My mom and I are planning on having a Christmas card making party in November. We used to go to a Stampin' Up represenative's house and make the cards every year and had a really good time with it. She stopped doing the parties so we decided to do our own.
However, I'm bouncing back on which way would be better. When we went to the parties in the past, we would pay $20 to make 5 cards that she had laid out. Obviously I'm not selling anything like she was so I don't need to do that. But, I'm trying to decided, would it be better to do a party where everyone just brings the supplies they have and make their cards on their own. Or, would it be better to do a party where it's set up where they can bring their own supplies or can pay a small fee ($5-$10) and I'll provide things like paper, stamps, etc that they can use to make their own cards?
I'll provide food and drinks for everyone no matter what direction we decide to go.
