Has anyone heard about this? My husband sent me an article about a family in CA who went a year without going to any kind of grocery store. For the last three months they only ate food they produced themselves.
I am very intrigued. It seems like it would be impossible (especially since I live in an apartment), but maybe not. The farmer's market in my neighborhood is really very good. It would mean we couldn't use that new Costco membership though. Anyway, I'm obviously obsessed with food.
Do any of you think you could ever do something like this?
