They want to have their wedding 5 days before ours

Here's my big problem.  My fiancee and I booked our wedding last December for the Friday after Labor Day.  One of his groomsmen got engaged like a 1+ months ago and called to say that they found the place where they want to get married and they have an opening in Aug and another opening the Sunday before our wedding (Labor Day weekend).  We told them we would prefer them to get married in Aug b/c 2 weddings in 5 days is WAY too much.  They now insist that the Sunday before our wedding is the ONLY day that works for them.  I honestly can't imagine going to another person's wedding 5 days before mine especially if my fiancee is in it.
Any thoughts?

YOU prefer they get married in Aug?? Yeah, you get NO say in someone else's wedding date and honestly, it was rather rude of you to even mention it.  I don't  see the problem here.  If you would do other things 5 days before your wedding, why can't you go to another wedding?  I'm thinking this is more about "stealing thunder" than anything.
