Sending an Invite to someone Who responded to STD?

If someone responded to my STD that they wouldn't be able to come to the wedding, would you still go ahead and send the invite?

After many questions, she's said there is no way she can make it.

Curious.

  • Sorry for double post!
  • Yes, still send an invite.  In the off-chance that something changes and she is able to make it, I'd want to make sure she had an invite in hand.

  • I say send it. As PP said and it may show her how much you do want her to be there.

  • You should still send her an invite.  Situations can change and at any rate you'd like her to know that you're thinking of her still, right?

  • Yes.. depending on the person.. I might include a note with the invite.
  • Definitely include a note so she understands you're being thoughtful, not pushy.

  • Yeah, I know it's the right thing to do.  Just checking.
