GOOD MORNING PEOPLE!!!

Wakey-wakey!

Anyone have fun plans for the holiday weekend?

Re: GOOD MORNING PEOPLE!!!

  • Morning.

I decided I am going to buy a new tv for the bedroom for H for our anniversary (in a month).  There seems to be some decent sales today...so my plan is to run to NH (tax free) and buy the tv and then drive to my parents' house to store it.  I figure I will probably wait until H takes his Saturday nap to do it.  He knows I have to go drop off our rent check so hopefully he will be none the wiser.
  • Sounds like a great sneaky plan.  H got home at 2 or 3 this morning so I'm leaving him sleeping while I go across the parking lot to check out this craft/vintage/antique sale thing they've got going on.  Just need the motiviation to get off the couch.  And the gym later to swim for a bit.  That's my big plans for the day.
  • Loopy: that sounds fun!  When I was a kid we used to always go to craft fairs on the Cape...i really miss them.  There never seems to be any around here.
  • Hey!

No big plans.  I'd like H to go through his closet and boxes that his mother dropped off so that we can make a Salvation Army run.  We'll see.  Otherwise, I plan on checking out new dishwashers and running to Sherwin Williams to get paint samples.  I have an urge to get the rest of our interior painted so that I stop making excuses for not hanging up our paintings.
  • No big plans here either. I'm going to enjoy my time off though. We will probably watch movies, go out to eat some and clean the house.

  • Good morning! Wow, it seems like I haven't been on TK in ages.

The only thing I really have planned for this weekend is some yard work and a family barbecue tomorrow. I think I will spend the rest of the weekend being lazy. H and I talked about maybe heading to the state fair,  but I really don't have the energy for it.

  • grr my MIL just called and told H two of his favorite college football teams are playing today (Navy ..on now and BC on this afternoon).  Here is to hoping he decides his nap is more important.

Thanks! So far I'm feeling okay, just so freaking exhausted. I could probably sleep 16 hours a day. I do get occasional waves of nausea, but nothing too bad yet. I'm mostly just excited, since it took almost 9 months of trying.

  • Sounds like some good weekends shaping up out there! We are in the midst of a fourhour drive to NG's dance team meet. She left on the team bus at 6 AM; we left about 8. Ick. But it will be a fun day even though Pierre is a pit. Rest of the weekend should me mellow; sister will be in town, so might see her.

  • I saw that, J. And read it but can't see the video on my phone. I promise to watch it when we get home tonight.

  • It took us almost a year - and I needed progesterone support during my first trimester- so I am glad it's working out for you.  I think I took a 2 1/2 - 3 hour nap every day and slept 9+ hours at night during my first tri.  Around 11 weeks I started skipping naps a few days a week.  I didn't have much nausea either so I really can't complain.  I hope you have smooth sailing :).

I'm gonna run over to this craft fair and see what I can find.  Be back later.
  • Thanks ladies!

Loopy, did you find out the gender?

  • Dang it. I am all curious but in the middle of freakin' nowhere without my computer. How 'middle of nowhere'? We juat passed a little motel called 'The Dew Drop Inn.' And now all that can be seen is corn and grain bins.

</div><div>Mica - I love love love love my KitchenAid dishwasher.  The clearance on the top rack is amazing and I can wash some very tall things up there.  That was a problem with my GE.  Also, it is crazy quiet.  I almost went out to lunch on DS a couple of months ago because I told him to fill the dishwasher and turn it on (he would NEVER forget the turn it on part).  I didn't hear it and thought he forgot.  Whoops, had to apologize for that one.

    </div>
  • Good to know. We'll be shopping for one sometime this month. I haven't had a dishwasher in about six or seven years.

Right now I do the cooking and FI does the dishes. His long running joke is that he needs a dishwasher so his life will be as easy as mine because I don't actually cook, the stove does...

Yup, marrying a comedian. Tongue Out
