This will be a P&R. I have to leave for school but I'll be checking back in once I get there.
CN: FI and I have two attendants each. The girls paid for their own dresses ($80 a piece) when we went shopping about 2 months ago. My dilemma is that the girls had to pay for their own clothes but I used some of the wedding money to buy the boys' clothes. I feel guilty and I'm debating between 2 options: A. telling the girls and paying them back or B. keeping my mouth shut (I don't like this option but it's still a viable option).
FI's two groomsmen live out of town (B lives an hour away at school and L lives in Virginia). B came up this weekend so FI, B, and I went shopping for their clothes. Because L lives out of town, and I didn't know if he would have the same availability at stores near him because everything we bought was on sale (%50-%70 off), I was planning on buying L's clothes so we would have them here when he comes for the wedding. B was with us and I didn't want to make him feel left out so I paid for his clothes too in addition to FI's. L and B's attire cost us about $130 total. Now I feel like a jerk for paying for the guys' clothes and not the girls'.
Should I tell my bridesmaids and pay them back or and keep my mouth shut? What are your opinions?
