Hi! Happy Wednesday

But it's kind of a Thursday cause tomorrow is my last day of work for the week which makes it almost a FRIDAY!  Like how I did that?  LOL :).

What's up people?

Re: Hi! Happy Wednesday

  • Hellooo. FI and I are finishing Friends with benefits and then going to start packing up the apartment. I hate packing.
  • Hey there. I was just thinking about starting one of these.

I got a text from my coworker saying we have Friday AND Monday off.

  • I'm not a fan of packing either.  I need to do more of that.
  • That's awesome MK. We get Monday off.
  • I have Friday and Monday off too MK.  This week AND next week ;).
  • Hi loopy!  Tonight's my last overnight shift!  Our computer system still wasn't up and running this morning when I left, but it should be by now I think.  It better be.  Last night right before it went down the majority of our orders and labels printed through 6 am, but some didn't, and it was a major pain trying to figure out what we were missing.  Any new orders that were placed after it went down had to be hand written, but at least we knew those ones weren't missing in broken computer land.  I wish they had just waited to shut everything down until after midnight when all the orders for the day print, but I guess that would make too much sense.

  • Hi everyone, I wish I got Friday or Monday off, but oh well. I did get my Christmas bonus today, so that's good. Hoping the rest of the week goes by quickly!

  • I got a $20 gift card to the grocery store as my Christmas bonus...
  • Hi!

Yay for almost being done with nightshifts, Kcs!
  • Christmas bonus?   What's that?  ;-)

  • Mrs. B, Baby B is getting so big!  She looks so cute in that picture, but how is she that old already?

  • I didn't think I would get Friday off and I wasn't sure about Monday.

I don't think I've ever received a Christmas bonus that wasn't in the form of a turkey. I did miss that this year. No free turkey.

  • Hey, everyone!

Yay for getting time off, MK!  Your situation looked bleak as of this morning.

I just got back from an awesome workout.  I ran 4.5 miles - I normally only do about 3- so I'm really proud of myself.  I plan to spend the rest of the night baking cookies.
  • Hi girls! I am allllllll dolled up and on the way to an at home reception for one of my best friends. :) Tomorrow is my friday!
  • I am so grateful for mine, I figure it can go towards the honeymoon!

Last year we had Friday off so I hoped we would again, no such luck though.

I am watching Tim Allen's Santa Clause, I love this movie!!!

  • Hi, everyone! I only have a half hour of work left, so I won't be around much.

I would like a Christmas bonus. Cash or turkeys are equally appreciated.

  • Ugh, Bree.  I hope you feel better soon.
  • My work gave out free turkeys as our Christmas bonus too mk. I didn't take mine though.  I'm not a huge turkey fan, and H and I really didn't need a whole turkey to ourselves. We've also been getting a lot of free food.  Our pathologist is catering lunch and dinner tomorrow and Friday in the lab break room, the doctors gave a breakfast to all the employees Tuesday, and I think the hospital is having a lunch, dinner, and midnight buffet today for all employees.

  • I worked at a place that gave out turkey's.  H worked there too (BF at the time) so we ended up with 2 turkeys a couple of years and then they changed to grocery store gift cards too.
  • Mari, I watched that last night and I had forgotten how funny it is.
  • I've never heard of getting a turkey for a Christmas bonus, and apparently its a thing.  Huh.

  • Never in my life have I heard of turkey as a bonus.
  • Can I just say, guys, that I really wish I could get excited for Christmas, and I just can't seem to muster anything at all? I feel like such a scrooge. :(

The company my aunt used to work for gave turkeys as a bonus. She said that was one of the things she missed when she left, because she had go out and buy one.

  • Evening.
    Yay for days off!

I aw'd this on SB but I'm going to do it here too... because I'm an AW like that. Today I climbed this hill 3x and did some other bootcamp workouts in between.

The rest of the day has consisted of lunch with H and baking.
  • An AHR on a Wednesday night Meg?

I would usually give the turkey to SIL and she would cook it up for when we were all together on Christmas Eve the past two years. But this year they're going to TX so we got together last weekend, and I don't work at that job anymore so no free turkey.

  • Good evening.

FI and I just got back from Miama. I watched Four Christmases today which was the 1st movie we saw together.

I am very thankful it was crazy and active around here today. It definitely helped me get through the time while FI was working and on the drive back.

  • We always gave one to MIL for the holiday dinner, and froze one and cooked it later.
