Do you ever dip your fries into your chocolate shakes? 

When I was in high school I couldn't get enough of that combination.  I haven't had it in years, and now I wonder whether it would still be good...

I do that with Wendy's fries in my Frosty, and I love it. I also dip my chicken nuggets in there although I admit that it is weird. Its my only really odd food quirk.

Seriously, shelly??  That's insane!  Even the tiny town I teach in has one, although it's only there b/c it's right off the interstate.

I'm not a big dipper (lol), but I do enjoy the 2 together.

A majority of the population of our town is Apostolic Christian.

It was weird, I actually dated a guy from here before I met Nick.  We went to watch TV one time and he pulled it out of the closet in his basement. 

I can't speak for the entire church but he was very closed minded and one time told me I have too many opinions and my gay friend was going to hell.

Did I mention this lasted less than a month?

There's a mcdonalds about 10 minutes drive from me, but I never, ever crave it. I think last time I had McDonalds was two years ago or so. 

 

That said, one of those icecream based chocolate shakes would be pretty good right about now, in this heat. Or a frozen coke... mmm, frozen coke!

the only thing besides mcflurrys i crave from mcdonalds is their nuggets, but i haven't had them in probably 5 years.

I have now resigned myself to the necessity of staying in the lowest level of our house. It's musty down here but I can't open the windows because it's too hot outside. It's probably 5 degrees cooler, though, so I can deal with fact that aside from the wall of windows it feels like a basement.

It's okay, sun, I came in at the very end of the thread to gloat.  But I won't be all high and mighty when it's 110 with 90% humidity mid summer.

Our a/c broke over the summer and it was up to 88 in our apartment and it was gross, so I know exactly how you feel.  Crank some fans and try not to move too much!
