STDs: Will be sent the first week of March

No idea about showers

Wedding invites will be sent Monday, July 9th (a couple out of the country invites will go a week earlier)

RSVP date will be Thursday, Aug. 23

Wedding date is Saturday, Sept. 8!

Gotcha.  I was just curious since I've never been to a wedding without RSVPs.  Nice thing for you is you don't have to worry about chasing down people who forget to send them back - that was a huge PITA for me!

I honestly think that very few, if any, people here had a wedding that absolutely, 100% followed every single TK "rule".

actual shower date picked (if you were thrown one of course)   June 1 (I think? It was about 3 months before the wedding)  I was OOT, so it was the only time I could come back before the weddings

My wedding events were/are odd because my fiance and I are both in the Military. Being that most of our friends are too, stuff went out early to work out leave and flights.

STD- 9 months out
Bridal Shower- One in December with his family in GA, one in February with my family in Ohio
Wedding Invites Out- Feb 5th (three months out)
RSVP- March 24th (six weeks till wedding)
Wedding- May 5th
sure, most are pretty early...but this gives us lots of time to make calls and allow our friends/family to work out their work schedule.
