Anyone have any suggestion for wording a RSVP reminder?

If they are past the RSVP date (and you really need a head count) call them directly.  They're the rude ones-not you.

"Hi Bill.  Just finalizing our wedding planning.  Our venue needs to know our head count so we'd love to know if you were joining us.  We hope you can" etc

You should call them if at all possible.

See, I just wrote "If you don't respond, then you're with the terrorists" on the back of my RSVPs and I didn't have any problems with people responding.

Don't remind people. Just call them if you haven't heard back by the RSVP date.
