Dating couple broke up

I had sent a Save The Date to 2 good friends of mine. A week after, they broke up. They had been together for 6 years. From what I know, they will not be getting back together before the wedding. I know I have a ton of time but I am trying to plan number of guests. Do I include plus 1's for both of them or can I leave it without a plus 1 since the 2 of them were originally the one's being invited?

Are you giving +1 to all your single guests? If so, I'd plan on giving them +1's as well. Since they were the people originally invited via STD, you're not required to give them +1 for the wedding unless, of course, one or both of them is in a different relationship by then.

I planned on +1 for all my single guests just so if they have a SO by the time of my wedding, I'm not excluding anyone. I'm not giving them a +1, I'm just leaving the room in my headcount / budget if their situation changes between STD and the wedding date.

Im actually in a similar situation. My fiances best man and one of my bridesmaids broke up after 6 years. And they are getting plus ones. Our wedding is a year from nowhopefully they meet someone
