Late or Incomplete Shower Hostess Gift

My bridesmaid is throwing me a very small shower on Saturday for our little group of friends (10 people including me and the FI). I am embarassed to say that I forgot to order part of her gift until today (I'm doing a tote bag filled with goodies like a bottle of wine, a gift card to our favorite store, tasty chocolates...) and there is no way it'll get here in time. should I give her the rest of it on Saturday and then the bag when it comes in or wait until I can put it all together the way I wanted?

I would also wait. Since it's a friend, I wouldn't sweat it. 

We had our baby shower in August, and it was the same weekend we moved. The hostess gifts got packed (I wasn't thinking about it being the same weekend) so when I got to the shower, I just told the hostesses that I really appreciated everything, and I did have a gift for them, but it was packed. They all (there were 9) understood.

Also, since it's a friend, you could even just say, "Hey, I ordered you something as a small token of my appreciation, and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. Let's go to lunch next week so I can get it to you." or something to that effect.
