Big Love (S4E1 spoilers)

A little late to the game, but who watched?  What did you think?

I love the new credits.  As much as I love Lois, I'm a little tired of the Lois and Frank hate each other and try to kill each other but are still married dynamic.  I wish they would give her a different storyline.  I loved it when she lived with Bill and the wives--I think that would be great.  I also think she would be a hoot in the casino situation somehow.

Weekend at Bernie's Roman was...interesting.  I thought the moment where Bill closed his eyes was really powerful, but I am not thrilled with the idea of him becoming the next Prophet.

Birdwatching Alby is creepy.  His first wife is hilarious.

I am really interested to see what happens with Carol Lynn and J.J. 

I have zero interest in Sarah/Scott or Ben's band. 

More Ellyn Burstyn, please.  The episodes at the end of last season where Barb was excommunicated were some of my favorites.

I was watching reruns from last season over the weekend, and I kinda liked it!  I had never seen it before.  I'll have to remember to watch more.  I like Margene (sp?)

It's definitely worth watching from the beginning.  It's one of my favorite shows ever.  The DVDs are expensive to buy, but it's not too bad on iTunes and you can always Netflix it. 

Margene is cute.  She has a blog on HBO's website with lots of backstory.

I like Sarah.  I really want her to go away to college and escape that whole mess. 

I would like to stab Nikki in the eyeballs.  She's so freaking stupid.  Again, she created all those problems.  I wish her old husband would come kidnap her and keep her for a season.  Everyone would be so happy to see how smooth things go without her around. 

I agree, I'm bored with Lois/Frank and I don't care about Ben.  I liked him better when he was getting some.

I love that Alby is gay.  I really want him to get outted.

I'm glad Roman is dead.

I like Sarah, but I haaate Scott.  I'm glad she's getting out, but I don't want any more of their emo drama.

Nikki is so frustrating but such an interesting character.  I want to throttle her one minute and then hug her the next.  I wonder if she'll wind up getting pregnant this season, because didn't they want her to have the next baby soon?

I think Roman's death will really be interesting show-wise, but I will miss Harry Dean Stanton.  He's a fabulous actor and I'm so sad he was never nominated for an Emmy as Roman.

I really dislike Barb.  Moreso than Nikki.  Her character is just whiny and judgy and drives me nuts.
