How are you today? It's raining here. Again. I layed down right after dinner last night and still didn't get to sleep until 10:30. stupid reading. My Kindle took a dump (screen froze) and Amazon is sending me another one that should be here tomorrow. I've only had customer service like that from Zappos. But they are owned together, so it makes sense.

I'm trying to clean out my mailbox because they won't increase the size. They sent a form letter saying I should have 100MB. The notice I keep getting says I only have 8000KB. If I'm doing my geek right, that's no where close. I'm also going to order my dress for our trip today. And maybe book the flight. I hate spending money like this, even if it has been put away in savings for this exact reason.

Last night my FI's best man decided to back out of the wedding...
My FI was pretty upset. I didn't ever like the guy ,but him and my FI have been friends for such a long time.

Today I don't have much going on...just running a few errands.

Morning! It's supposed to rain here today, too, but be much colder tonight. Low 40s tonight and tomorrow, yippee!

Both girls go to the dentist this afternoon, and then younger one has her strings "concert" tonight. Should be, erm, interesting. Beginning strings players are rather painful to listen to.

Good Morning.  Sorry about your Kindle, but I'm glad it'll be resolved easily!  I feel you on spending money for things like that, even if you've planned for them. 

So Mr Stack earns a gold star today.  If you read last night, they're going to sell our house and they gave us a little over a day notice that they're coming to take pictures to post for the sale.  Of course I want to remove all my personal things so they aren't posted all over the internet with my address attached to it.  So I cleaned a lot last night but our basement is ridiculous just from pulling out things out of the storage area and tossing the toys downstairs that J doesn't play with anymore.  So Mr Stack called me when I got to work today and told me he called off so he could get the basement clean.  Mr Stack you rock like whoa!  Otherwise I'd have had to do it all tonight while he has soccer.

Oh yea, and it's raining here today.  Gross.  AND I got stuck at a light that kept changing in every direction except for ours.  So I must have sat at a red light through 4 cycles before I turned around.......and guess what happened when I turned around?  The stupid light turned green.  So I went this stupid way to work today and just barely made it on time.

I'm freaking out a little bit because I have to get my car inspection done but after I pay rent today I'm only going to have $50 in my bank account until next Friday when I get paid again. Being a grown up sucks.

It's all good.  We are moving out in July anyhow.  I just don't want to deal with strangers walking through our house up until then and having to keep it really clean for showings when it isn't even my house they're selling.  Just a hassle more than anything.  I have absolutely no worries about them selling the house while we're still there.  Houses in my neighborhood stay up for sale for months/years.

Good morning!  Wow, I made it before it reached two pages today.

I'm in a fantastic mood, not quite sure why.  It's H's last day of work before he has a day off (he does six days on, one off), so he was in a great mood this morning too.  I'm having some of my girlfriends over tonight while he's at class, first "girls' night" in the new place, so I'm very excited about that.  Would be more excited if the kitchen didn't look like a bomb scene -- must attend to that later today!

Sorry about your Kindle, LVB, but that sounds like amazing customer service!

Yea.  I'm really freaking out about my belongings being on the interwebz.  I just don't want my house to be a theft target.

I don't blame you Stacks. FI always wants to keep the blinds on the sliding glass door open and you can see a lot of our stuff and it makes me nervous.

Stacks, yeah we went and looked at it and it was a total shithole. I can't believe they were showing it. Some punk in his 20s was flippign it at it wasn't even close to done. Thank goodness though; I think it's out of H's system now.

Sorry about your Kindle LVB, but at least replacing it seems quick and easy! Mine froze just last week, but I was able to resuscitate it with a little help from my tech savvy knotties.

I'm really mad at myself right now because I left my wonderful fruit smoothie at home in the fridge. It was full of deliciousness and now I have to wait until after work to enjoy it. Pout.

Hey guys!

I feel like somebody roofied me this morning.  We did so much sh!t the past week for the wedding.  Tuesday we drove the 9-10 hours to St. Louis and hung out pretty consistently with extended family who came for longer than just the weekend in addition to the last minute stuff and actual work work that I had to finish.  Friday was the rehearsal and RD (71 people), Saturday was the wedding (all day Catholic wedding with gap), Sunday we had brunch (54 people), went to the Botanical Gardens, and then had dinner with the remaining 30 or so people.  Then yesterday we drove back and got home around 8pm.  The wedding was awesome, but I. am. dead.

I am in a good mood because the Federal election went the way I want it too.  The moron leader who decided to call an election that nobody wanted and waste the taxpayers money trying to take down the current leader, ended up winning the lowest amount of seats in the history of that party and didn't even get re-elected in his own riding.  Ha!  And the Conservative government they were trying to take down ended up getting majority, so this crap can't happen again for 4 more years.

Good morning! It's going to be a slacker day for me. My officemate is out and my boss is out. Panda unsupervised is a Panda who Knots.

LVB I know how you feel about spending money, even when you're buying things for a purpose or if you planned on spending it. Saturday we bought me some new shoes, a new bike for Mr. P and new patio furniture. I was almost in tears by the end of the day. But we did get a really great deal on fabric and frames at Crate & Barrel so now we have art on our walls. Hey, it only took two years!

aleigh being a grown up gets better. I promise.

LTB I noticed a stink bug in the driveway the other day. Theeeeeyy're baaaaack.

Happy wedding, Doc!

Stacks, that is awesome of Mr. Stacks. My H has been earning himself some gold stars in the past 24 hours too - I was totally wiped out after work yesterday, so he made me get in bed while he made dinner, and this morning he drove me to work. I'm so ready for this cold to be over with, I have lots of work to do and am just exhausted, I think from my coughing.

LVB, Kindle support is AWESOME. They sent me a replacement for the one I accidentally squished. I love them forever.

LVB - totally understand about spending money.  I've been saving up for the past four years.  So when I had to move money over for the wedding and my new car, it hurt a bit.  Even though that was the whole point of my savings accounts!  I had such a nice little nest egg.

Oh well, morning y'all!  About to head into a busy busy day.  I was at work until 1am finally fixing my computer model issues.  Now I just have to do a few parametric studies all while fighting for licenses. ARGH!  Catch ya on the flip side!
