Vendor meals: Am I being a cheap bastard? :)

I want to make sure that our vendors eat at our wedding, but I'm not sure what my options are with regard to feeding them. We are paying them all a lot of money and we're tipping them quite well. Our day of coordinator just asked if we would like to provide boxed gourmet vendor meals from our caterer and they would be $30 per person. I might have cringed at the thought of that.

Our photographers ate the same thing as everyone else. We weren't even given a vendor meal option, but I wouldn't have chosen it. I think they should eat just like everyone else, but maybe that's just me. Our photographers have ended up being really good friends of ours after the wedding so I'm glad we chose the option we did.
