My fiance and I want to have a more intimate wedding with fewer guests. Our issue is that we both have really large families and lots of friends. Many of them know we are engaged. Our issue is how to have that small wedding without people feeling left out. To put it bluntly, is it ok that 1) we not invite some of the same family/friends that were invited to our sibilings weddings (some of whom may expect an invite) and 2)if our only contact with someone is the occasional facebook "hello," is it ok not to put them on the guest list as well?
