Appropriate Bridal Party Gift for the Minister(Uncle)

My wedding is in Delaware but my Minister will be my uncle who lives in Florida.  He is a chaplin at a hospital there.  I know typically you offer the minister a monetary gift and then he probably donates it to the church.  What would be appropriate here?  He would probably come to the wedding anyway.  Do we pay for his hotel (if so, how many nights), airfare, etc?
Thanks.

  • I paid for a hotel room (two nights) for our minister and his wife. They had to travel to the rehearsal/wedding, and he isn't a pastor at a church so there was no organization to donate to.
