i am watching coyote ugly on tv.  i have not done anything to my hair, or put any make up.  my girlfriend wants me to come out for a few drinks.  i am exhausted from yesterday.  i was at the ferry in victoria for 8am and drove from vancouver straight through... got home around 1130pm.  That's a long ass day in a car.

I just got home from work and decided to watch Prison Wives.  I just do not understand these ladies, but I do admire their commitment even though I'm not sure it's the correct path.

I am just drinking beers and lounging tonight. I am getting started early because stupid gabourey sidebey is on SNL tonight and I am NOT happy about that. I dont like her. I know its going to be a painfully awkward episode but I cant bring myself to not watch incase I miss one of my favourite regular sketches, so I have to. Thats what the beer is for.

Nebb I went to the grocery store - finally.  Despite my not wanting to put any pants on.  I made rotel dip with multigrain tostitoes.  I also got some spinach salad stuff.  Oh and a pepsi.  I had a mad craving.  What I really wanted was a burrito or pad thai, but I did not feel like driving any further than the grocery store.

What is rotel dip? I ate WAY too many tostitos lastnight, but sadly enough i still want more. You mentioning them has not helped hah.

I just got home from the academic conference I attended today. And I was wearing high heels and a body shaping undergarment for about 13 hours. I guess this is training for getting married....

Just got home from dinner.  I got a hair color, manicure, and brow wax today.  I would PIP my new color, but the Knot is being stupid and won't let me.  It's really purty.

Oh and I finished our programs, thank God.  And we chased down a bunch of our missing RSVPs.

i pulled a muscle in my neck today. i just took some painkillers. what i really need is some flexeril. bah.

Rotel is canned tomatoes and chilies.  You can only get it in the states.  I always stock up when I go.  You heat it up with velveeta.  It's like queso.  Oh so good.  I love it.  Last can!  I'm going to montana next month so I'll get more then.

My roadtrip was awesome.  Those mountains never get old.  NEVER.  Too beautful.  Victoria was so amazing.  I love that city.  I ate fish, twice.  I hate fish, but since it was so fresh it was so delicious.  YUM.  Had some drinks the first night to celebrate my girlfriend being done her second year of law school!

I worked on a research methods lit review due next week.  Just need to look it over for spelling and/or grammatical errors and all I have is an open book final Monday and a in class final on Wednesday.  yay for the semester almost being done!

nebb, i usually let myself indulge if i am willing to make the effort to go to the store for chips.  just be sure to get an individual bag.  and leave it at chips.  no sweets.  no pop.

Im not really a huge sweets person, I rarely EVER drink pop or eat sweets. If I crave a snack its always salty. I am really liking the baked chips - i dont feel AS bad when I eat them as opposed to normal chips.

I love baked chips.  I sort of negate the whole healthy part of it though bc I eat about half the bag.  I love the texture of them.

yeah baked is always a good way to go.  i like baked chips or crackers with hummous.  yum! 

it's so funny, i don't think i knew that about you shelly.  in fact i don't think i know where lots of knotties live.

I like the texture of baked chips too. Now that I think of texture though, I really want some pop chips, which are even "healthier" than baked chips. I dont know what to do!!!

i would wait an hour and the craving may pass.  mine usually do.  my sweet cravings are generally gone in no time.  but, sometimes my salty ones hang around.   drink some water.

what are everyone's plans for tomorrow?  anything fun?

Good evening, all! I've been MIA all week no thanks to work. Oy.

We're waiting for the storms to hit here in Michigan... should be over night some time. I've been picking off cheesy popcorn and watching re-runs of Everybody Loves Raymond. FI is already in bed because he stayed up too late last night watching hockey.

Oooh - I did discover Loreal's Telescopic Mascara & Eye Liner today. If I can get enough practice in with the liquid eyeliner, I may wear this for my shower next Saturday. Yaay girly stuff!
