I've NEVER been to the state fair. We had friends from Syracuse, and they went all the time. My parents aren't good with crowds, but after going to the LA County fair, I think I would like it. My brother's house isn't bad. He lives in a relatively newer area of Liverpool that's just technically Liverpool, I guess. He shares a house with a bunch of guys, since they're all early-mid-20s.

My parents live an hour north of Syracuse. My mom really wants to get a vacation house in the Adirondacks. Did you go to school in Buffalo or Rochester? I'm from Buffalo so I have a lot of friends who went to Canisius and UB. My dad went to Buff State.

Ah, they hey-days of Jim Kelly. And Andre Reed. And Thurman Thomas. And Bruce Smith. Jim Kelly still lives in WNY. Some athletes love Buffalo (good fans, low cost of living) and others hate it. OJ Simpson hated it. T.O. hated it too.

Minny is in the #5 spot of the Bottom Ten this week! (for being so HOORIBLE)

Obviously, I cheer for Purdue and Virginia Tech, both of which are making me wish basketball season comes sooner.  Also, I have to cheer for Clemson, since FI went there.  But of course on Saturdays we're often lamenting "CLEMSOOOOON!"

As far as pro goes, I don't really follow it.  Although I'll cheer for the Saints (Drew BREES!) and the Colts (PEYTON!) any day of the week.

Having him as my QB made the Bills loss on Sunday a little easier to swallow, though.

At least Sunday's game was interesting to watch.  They looked better/less pathetic than they did the week before, and kept the score close.  At this point I'm consoling myself with the fact that if they finish with a really crappy record they will get better draft picks.  It's hard being a Bills fan.

My secondary teams that I like are the Patriots (H's family is from Boston), the Giants (my mom's family is from NY)  and the Saints, just because.
