So my boss/grad advisor guy keeps asking me about my wedding date. He's an exceptional homebrewer and gives away 90% of his beer. He wants to brew us mini keg for a party or reception - however he's not invited to the wedding (close friends/family only), and our wedding will not be not local either.
I said that it could be July 28, 2012, but it's in Jackson Hole now.
Then he replies, "Oh we'll have to do something here then." He needs months notice to get this keg going.
I highly doubt he'll put together a party himself even among work associates. I have no plans to have any receptions in this town, nor are any being thrown (aka engagement party).
What do I tell him and his generous offer? A keg would be great, but where could we use it? It seems sacrilegious to decline a free mini keg of beer!
