First Doctor Appointment went well.

Some of you might remember that I posted around a month ago about finding a doctor since I had never been to one before, and I got some really good advice.

Well, my appointment was yesterday, and my doctor was AMAZING. She took me completely seriously, and didn't write off my problems with depression/anxiety and binge eating as something to just "get over" like I was worried would happen. She immediately started me on an antidepressant, and since bloodwork indicated that I was insulin resistant, she put me on a pill to help with that, which should help with the poly cystic ovarian syndrome as well, and will most likely help with the binge eating too.

All in all, I'm feeling pretty great, and I appreciate all of the advice and support I got from you ladies. I know that I do not make myself very easy to like, but everyone here always comes through with great advice. I'm not sure I would have even known what to do about the whole finding a doc thing if I hadn't been able to ask everyone here. Thanks again!

Yeah, I have a follow up appointment in a month to see how I'm reacting to all the medication, since it takes 2-3 weeks for the antidepressants to kick in.
