Our budget is barely over $4K and, due to the fact that I already had a meltdown just looking at caterer prices in San Diego, we decided to have a Vegas wedding. The guest list is approx. 150-200 people, many of whom we know won't be able to make it to Vegas. However, we believe that most people will be able to make it to the shower "pre-ception". Our dilemma is this: is there any way to ensure that we only have approx. 50 people attend the wedding in Vegas without alienating those that will be coming to the shower only? Otherwise, it will defeat the purpose of having a wedding in Vegas at all. P.S. the shower "pre-ception" is planned over a month in advance of the wedding.
