reception woes

How do you handle your guest tackfully when they send back their response card with more than 2 persons on it?

Re: reception woes

  • How did you address the invite?  Mr. & Mrs? You will have to call the person and explain that the invite was just for them, or that due to space constraints you can only accomodate X & Y, etc.

If the invite was addressed properly, then it's rude for them to include their kids or whoever they are trying to add on. Our invites are going out tomorrow and we are also prepared to make some calls if people try to add on.

Are you planning to stick them with tacks?

    OMG, I'm lame
  • jajph that's hilarious!

I would agree with PP--whether the invite was addressed correctly or not, I would call and say, I'm so sorry for the minunderstanding but the invitation was intended for ___ and ____. I really wish we could invite everyone, but it's just not realisitc with our budget. I'm sorry, I hope you understand.
