H and I are attending a party on Saturday. I asked the hostess if I could bring anything, and she suggested I bring a dessert.
The party is Italian-themed and is outside. I'm at a loss. All I can come up with is gelato, but I've never made it before. (We just got an ice cream maker as a wedding gift, and I haven't opened it yet.)
Is there any other Italian dessert that would be easy to make and would tolerate being outdoors? The gelato could stay in the freezer until serving time.
Oh, and for some reason, the sight, smell and taste of tiramisu makes me gag.
