Not by a date. By friends? Maybe, but I'm having trouble remembering. Never to the extent of my getting reservations, being seated at a table, and/or ordering food and then finding out someone else isn't showing.

OH one of my friends decided to cancel her birthday party and not tell me until I had parked and was on my way to where we were meeting with a gift. I texted to ask if anyone was there yet. I was pissed, but ended up visiting another friend.

I am trying to think.  I do remember one internet date where the guy was, like, an hour late and for some inexplicable reason I kept waiting for him.  He showed up, I was totally underwhelmed.  Probably should have just cut my losses and left before he got there.

Oh - yes!  Just before I moved from Chicago to Ohio, I had been dating this guy for maybe a month and we had plans to do a "goodbye" date.  I even bought new underwear and everything.  He never called me back that afternoon to make plans and never responded to my phone calls or emails.  I took the hint and gave up, but to this day I find it really bizarre.

msmery, I would have been pissed too.

My best friend wanted to hang out a few nights ago. She all of a sudden (while at my house) got so sick and had to leave. I dropped her off at her house and her ex boyfriend was waiting on her porch. Yup, she ditched me to hang out with the ex because he is not allowed at my house. I can,not.stand.liars.

Never by a date, but I have been stood up by friends.  We were 14 and meeting at the theater to see Miss Congeniality.  My mom dropped me off and I patiently waited for them, but they never showed up... so I watched the movie alone.  I later found out that they accidentally went to the wrong theater.  My mom was so pissed, haha.
