One of our guests bought a gift off of our Macy's registry to be delivered to us. I just got an email telling me that the gift has been purchased and is on backorder, potentially until December 30.
What's the correct way to handle thank you notes? Should I wait until I actually receive the gift to send a thank you? Should I send one now thanking her? Should I send one note now and another one when the gift actually arrives?
