10 days that shook the world

Okay, maybe not the whole world, but at least mine. 10 days out, heyo!

Anywhey, is anyone else here? Want to share with me what you woulda/shoulda/coulda (or not) done and/or stressed about at this point?

And if not, anyone here at all? Bueller?

  • I'm here, but I imagine you might not be anymore.

  • Nope, I'm still present!

I shouldn't be, as I have multiple "final' appointments tomorrow, but I can't sleep. And, actually, it's not that late in CA.

    How goes it, mags?
  • It goes. I got off from work late and I am wired,

So are you getting excited, nervous, just ready to get it over with?

Not sure if you're here now, but..

Just excited. I was stressed for the last couple of months, but now I'm just ready to do the damn thing, ya know?

I figure if there's anything I've left out or forgotten, then so be it. My guests will have plenty to eat, drink and dance to, so I figure I'm good. :)
  • My dad gave me a great bit of advice, as he used to have to plan large dinner parties for work.  He told me that the week before, you should pretty much have everything done.  Just sit back, relax and let people do their jobs!  He was right- I went home about 3 days before the wedding, and I had almost nothing to do.

I think the only thing I wish I had done ahead of time was have the BP figure out their driving arrangements before we went for pictures (we did them before the ceremony).  Since we didn't have a limo, it took way too much time to figure that out.  And taking pics beforehand was the best idea we had- I was so much more relaxed by the time I walked down the aisle.
  • Whoohoo, ten days!
